Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe the meaning and the kinds of political Register. Register is one of the language varieties. Register is the belonging to a certain profession or certain speech community. The other people may find difficulties, in understanding those terms, if they are not the member of a certain profession. This analysis offers two problems,namely the meaning and the kind of political register which are found in internet. In this research, the researcher uses descriptive method. This method uses some steps: collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data. This research uses descriptive method because the data are described systematically. While the data which are used in this research are all of the political register found in internet. In this research, the researcher analyzes all of the data,because the total numbers of the data are less than 100 terms. As the result of this study, the writer finds 3 kinds of political register namely,political register referring to the members of the parliament, the members of government, and the members of judicative. There are 12 data which are found referring to the Member of Parliament, 26 data the members of government and 6data belong to the members of judicative.
