Abstract

The objectives of this research are describing the meaning and the kinds of football register. Register is one of the language varieties.Generally,common people may find difficulties, in understanding those terms if they are not the member of a certain profession. This analysis offers two problems, namely; the meaning and the kinds of football register which are found in Internet. In this research, the researcher uses descriptive method. This method uses some steps; collecting, classifying, and analyzing the data. This research uses descriptive method because the data are described systematically.While the data which are used in this research are all of the football register found in Internet.In this research, the research analyzes all of the data, because the total numbers of the data are less than.100 terms. As the result of this research, the writer fnds five kinds of football register namely;football registerreferring to the governing body of football, the player position, the ball position, fouls and misconduct, and officiating.
