Abstract

This research generally aims to determine wheter or not there is a difference between mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Model (MMP) with mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using Project Based Learning Model (PjBL) with mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using conventional learning model. Mathematics learning achievement in this research is the values of posstest – the values of pretest. This research is quasi-experimental quantitaive researh. It was implemented to the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019 at SMA Negeri 2 Madiun with the science class X as population. While, the samples of this researh are class X A6 as an experimental class taught using MMP learning model, class X A4 as an experimental class taught using PjBL model, and X A5 as an control class taught using conventional learning model. The techniques of data collection using the test method used instrument is the mathematics learning achievement test. Mathematics learning achievement test used to determine students’ mathematics learning achievement. The results showed that mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using MMP learning model that has many students (n_1 )=26 with the average value (X ̅_1 )=52,69 and the standard deviation (S_1 )=11,16, mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using PjBL model that has many students (n_2 )=30 with the average value (X ̅_2 )=26,44 and the standard deviation (S_2 )=13,98, and mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using conventional learning model that has many students (n_3 )=30 with the average value (X ̅_3 )=23,44 and the standard deviation (S_3 )=17,86. The statistic analysis using normality test and variance homogeneity test showed that the three datas derived from normally distributed population and that the three datas derived from a population with homogenous variance. While, for one-way variance analysis showed that there is a difference between mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Model (MMP) with mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using Project Based Learning Model (PjBL) with mathematics learning achievement of group of students taught using conventional learning model.
