Abstract

The study was carried out to investigate the effect of sugarcane filter mud compost, legin and mychorrhizae application on the growth of peanut. The measurement parameters included plant growth (plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, and the time of flowering) and percentage of mycorrhiza infection. The collected data were analyzed by the use of Analysis of Variance (Anova), followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level of significance. The result of this experiment showed that addition of sugarcane filter mud compost, legin and mychorrhizae inoculation significantly increased peanut plant growth (number of leaves, number of branches, and the time of flowering) and percentage of mycorrhizae infection, but not plant height.
